It clearly gives the following information to the prospective IGNOU Nepal Students.

1. Transfer facility to IGNOU study centers worldwide: Candidates once enrolled to the IGNOU can get transferred to any study centers / Partner Institutes (PIs) worldwide provided the courses/program is in offer.

2. Examination Facility: Candidates can appear TERM END EXAM from any Partner Institution/ Study Center worldwide, they can also appear exams through India Embassy / Indian Consulate in the countries where there is no Partner Institution / study center.

The above information given by Nepal based IGNOU Partner Institute is correct. However, the process is not as easy as you may think of it.

First of all, who are the students who can be admitted in IGNOU Partner Institute of Nepal?

Who can be admitted as an international student of IGNOU?
Ans. A person residing outside India and seeking admission for the courses offered by IGNOU where there are Partner Institutes of IGNOU. A list of all Partner Institutes may be seen at IGNOU Website Under a Link "International Students".

There, you will get FAQs relating to IGNOU International Students. IN FAQs prepared by IGNOU University for International Students, Question No. 15, 16, 32 and 34 deal with change of Partner Institute from one country to another. So, if you are student of IGNOU In Nepal in one of the Partner Institutions of IGNOU in Nepal and want to transfer your registration from Nepal to India or if you are IGNOU Student in India in one of the Regional Centers and if you want to transfer your registration from some Regional Center in India to IGNOU Partner Institution in Nepal, you must read answers to Question No. 15, 16, 32 and 34 and you will get the idea about how you can change your partner institutions and regional centers from one country to another, from Nepal to India and from India to Nepal.

The Questions and their answers have been reproduced below for the help of IGNOU International Students:

15. Can a student seek change of Region / Partner Institute / Regional Centre during her or his studies?
Ans. A student can seek change of region from overseas to India or vice-a-versa subject to the condition:
i) Such a change is not permissible for B.ED course from overseas to India.
ii) Change for Management Program from the overseas to India is permissible if the candidate undertakes to remit international fees during her/ his studies.



16. What is the procedure for seeking change of Region?
Ans. IGNOU provides the facility of change of region from overseas to India and vice-a-versa subject to certain conditions as mentioned in the above question. The candidate can apply in the prescribed form along with a fee of USD 50 or equivalent INR. Such application may be sent to the Director, International Division, Block 15, Section-K, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068.

32. Whether a learner can get transfer from India to abroad for continuing his/her studies?
Ans. The learner may get transfer to such countries where IGNOU has its partner institutes and the program he/she wants to pursue is in offer in such Partner Institutes. For this a list of partner institutes along with the programs offered may be seen at: http://id.ignou.ac.in

IGNOU UNIVERSITY AUTHORITIES - Do you know?

We study in IGNOU University. We talk about IGNOU University. We talk about IGNOU Examination, IGNOU Examination Forms, IGNOU Assignment, IGNOU Assignment submissions etc. But, how many of us know about IGNOU Authorities? IGNOU Vice Chancellor, IGNOU Pro-Chancellor etc.?

Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, President of Republic of India has played a key role in public life for more than four decades. Before becoming the President of India he served as Finance Minister in Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s cabinet.
 
Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi recognised his talents and made him a part of her party. Mrs. Gandhi gave him a seat in the Rajya Sabha from the Congress party in July 1969. Mr. Mukherjee was later re-elected in 1975, 1981, 1993 and 1999.
 
He also held several important ministerial portfolios including Defence and External Affairs in the Union Cabinet.
 
Mr. Mukherjee's positions in chronological order:

Mr. Mukherjee holds MA degree in History and Political Science and also a degree in law from the University of Calcutta. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters degree by the University of Wolverhampton in 2011. He was also awarded an honorary D.Litt by the Assam University in March 2012.
 
He is married to Suvra Mukherjee and has two sons and a daughter.

IGNOU Assignments for all Courses 2013 - Solved and Unsolved Assignments

IGNOU TERM END EXAMINATIONS RESULTS - JUNE, 2013

Have you appeared for IGNOU Term End Examinations June, 2013? If yes, then, please note that IGNOU has announced the result. You can visit the IGNOU result by following the link here.

But, please note that as on today, IGNOU has not announced results of all the examinations conducted in June, 2013. IGNOU has selectively published results of exams conducted in June and April, 2013. As per IGNOU website, the results of examinations conducted in April, 2013 and early declaration of results of examinations conducted in June, 2013 have been published.

IGNOU University website mentions that the following results have been published:


  • BHM, BAIHA & MHA April 2013 (New)
  • June 2013 Exam Result (Early Declaration) Alternate
Therefore, IGNOU has chosen to publish results of only above two examinations. If you have appeared in any of the above two examinations, we wish you all the best and e hope that you have passed IGNOU Examinations of June, 2013.
