Last date of submission of IGNOU Assignments for TEE June, 2013

 If you are planing to attend Term End Examinations June, 2013 i.e. TEE 2013 conducted by IGNOU University, please be aware that the assignments has to be submitted by 30th March, 2013 and all the assignments for which you are attending the examinations in TEE June, 2013 must be submitted before submitting Term End Examination Form.


IGNOU has announced that "Submission of assignments mandatory for TEE".
All IGNOU students must submit their assignments in order to get hall tickets for the Term End Examination (TEE), the Student Evaluation Division (SED) has announced.

All IGNOU students are required to ensure the validity of their registration and submission of assignments of the courses for which they intend to appear in TEE. They are also required to get their examination forms authenticated from their Study Centres/ Programme Study Centres/Special Study Centres/Recognised Study Centres/Partner Institutions/Community Colleges/Convergence Centres/Programme Coordinators, etc. to this effect and submit the same at their respective Regional Centres,” said Prof Pushplata Tripathi, Registrar, SED.

    ...I am a working professional enrolled in the Master of Economics course and due to my workload at office was unable to complete my assignments on time... I wanted to check if I can still submit these by the mid-year next year and write term end examination in November-December 2013?

      Dear Sunil, Thank you for your question. When did you get admission? Our answer depends on that. Do you still have valid registration with IGNOU? Please check that with your study center. But theoretically, you can submit both first year and second year assignments at the same time. The last date for submission of assignment is October end if you want to appear for December, 2013 TEE Examinations.

    Hi..I've got PGDIBO admission on jan 2013 and i've planned to give exams on dec 2013. Meanwhile i didn't get any correspondence regarding assignment details. Last month I've downloaded assignment papers from the Ignou website only. If i'll take time to submitting my assignment by October end, 2013. Can i apply for TEE dec 2013 for next month? Will they accept my exam application form?

    Dear Jiya, First you need to submit your assignments and then only, IGNOU accepts your examination form. Please work on assignments first. The last date for submission of assignment is October end if you want to appear for December, 2013 TEE Examinations.

      i want to shift my examination center to kathmandu center ..so what are the requirements...i heard that..i need to summit my assignments to my delhi based study center and request their to transfer my exam center to kathmandu nepal..is that right?what receiving should i receive from my study center for such transfer?and what is the last date of submission of exam form for december 2013 exam?

      Dear Subodh Niraula, you read it very well in our blog. Please note that IGNOU Conducts any examination (TEE Examination of IGNOU, Term End Examination of IGNOU University) twice a year. The Examination is conducted once in June month of the year and another TEE of IGNOU (Term End Examination of IGNOU) is conducted in December month of the year. Depending on the time of the admission in IGNOU, you can attend either Term End Examination of IGNOU in June or Term End Examination of IGNOU in December.

      Now, you must note that the assignments of IGNOU must be submitted before even filing the examination forms. Without submitting the assignment, you can not even fill the examination form of the Term End Examination of IGNOU. Therefore, the normal rule is you must submit your assignment of IGNOU by October, 30 if you intend to appear in Term End Examination of IGNOU in the month of December.

      Similar will be the case that you must submit your assignment of IGNOU by April, 30 if you intend to appear in Term End Examination of IGNOU in the month of June.

      Please remember that the rules quoted above are normal rules regarding the submission of IGNOU Assignments.

      However, you must also note down the specific rules made for each subjects and made for each academic year and by each branch of Schools. IGNOU has different branches of study. IGNOU has different study center and therefore, each can set their own rules with respect to due date for submission of assignments.

      Therefore, we advise you to follow the specific instructions given in your Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers/Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers Booklet.

      For example, we checked a subject of B.Com. (F&A). We found that one of the subjects that you have to study is Business Organisation. They have given the Assignment due date submission as 15 September if you are going to appear for Term End Examination of IGNOU in the month of December. They have also stated in their Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers/Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers Booklet that the Assignment due date submission is 15 March if you are going to appear for Term End Examination of IGNOU in the month of June.
      Please check the Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers/Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers Booklet from HERE and verify it yourself.

      Similarly, if you check Assignment Question papers booklet from HERE, you can see that they have mentioned different dates as Assignment Submission dates of IGNOU for Masters of Political Science/for Master of Arts in Political Science/for MA (Political Science)/ for MPS. For Masters of Political Science/for Master of Arts in Political Science/for MA (Political Science)/ for MPS, it has been mentioned that the Assignment due date submission as September 30, 2015 if you are going to appear for Term End Examination of IGNOU in the month of December. They have also stated in their Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers/Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers Booklet that the Assignment due date submission is March 31, 2015 if you are going to appear for Term End Examination of IGNOU in the month of June.

      So, please submit your assignment of IGNOU within the due date as mentioned in Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers/Term End Examination (TEE) Assignment Question Papers Booklet. The information provided in our blog are only general.

      Students of IGNOU University are already aware that IGNOU operates in different counties. In this sense, IGNOU University is truly a world class international open University in India. International Students of IGNOU have two options to get admitted in IGNOU. They can join IGNOU either through foreign Study Centers located at foreign country/in their home place or if they are in India, they can register with IGNOU in India as International Students and can study here.

      However, there can be a situation that a student enrolled in foreign partnered institution of IGNOU University may have to come back to India on a permanent basis or foreigner living in India may have to leave India due to various reasons. In such situations, students may face difficulty of studying in an IGNOU institution/Regional Center and may have to discontinue his IGNOU Education if that be a case where IGNOU does not allow to transfer the registration from one country to another. But, IGNOU has been very flexible to transfer the IGNOU Regional Center from one place to another within India and from India to outside and from outside to India. IGNOU University has taken care the interests of International and Overseas Students considering the various difficulties that may be faced by IGNOU International Students.

      IGNOU Overseas or International Students therefore, can transfer their registration from overseas to India and from India to overseas. IGNOU has prepared a details Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for its international students and International IGNOU Students must go through it to find out the process and procedures to get admitted in IGNOU University.       Please read Question No. 15 and 16 and their answers to understand the change of IGNOU Regional Center from one country to another in page 4 of the booklet. The Question and the answer is reproduced below:

      15. Can a student seek change of Region / Partner Institute / Regional Centre of IGNOU during
      her or his studies?

      Ans. A IGNOU UNIVERSITY student can seek change of region from overseas to India or vice-a-versa subject to the condition:

      i) Such a change is not permissible for B.ED course from overseas to India.

      ii) Change for Management Program from the overseas to India is permissible if the candidate undertakes to remit international fees during her/ his studies.

      16. What is the procedure for seeking change of Region?

      Ans. IGNOU provides the facility of change of region from overseas to India and vice-a-versa subject to certain conditions as mentioned in the above question. The candidate can apply in the prescribed form along with a fee of USD 50 or equivalent INR. Such application may be sent to the IGNOU, Director, International Division, Block 15, Section-K, IGNOU, MaidanGarhi, New Delhi – 110068.

    I need to know I registered as a student of M.com in July 2012 but I didnt fill my assignments in March 2013 so will submit now and would appear in December 2013 exams.I want to make sure should I fill assignments available on website as For July 2012 admission cycle or latest one.I had inquired in IGNOU they said to fill July 2012 admission cycle assignments...But want to make sure of it...Thanks in anticipation..

    I have the same doubt as Cheshta. I joined in July 2012 and now I want to appear for the Dec 2013 TEE. The person at the study centre told me I should submit the assignment for the latest cycle. Clearly, both of us have been told two different things. Do advise.

    Sir/madam, iam 1st year bcom. (june 2013).my exams are due this june 2014. As i was unable to submit all my assignments before last date of submission, iam ineligible for attending exams.
    Firstly, can i attend december 2014 exams by sumbitting assingment along with December batch. Or am i allowed to write only june exam as iam june batch.
    Secondly, when is the next opportunity for me to submit assignment for eligibility for my 1st yr exam. Can i submit the same assingment for june 2014 session by ocober 2014.or do i have to wait till june2015 assignment and write tee for june2015.
    Any help regarding my qiery would be greatly appreciated.
