Details Regarding Submission of Assignment

The students are hereby asked to submit the assignment only during IGNOU Office Timing.
Late submission will not be accepted on any account.
After evaluation they can get them back from the Study Centre before written theory examination. Study Centre does not take any responsibility thereafter.
The assignment(s) are to be submitted on time as per dates given by SR&E Division (Delhi).
Clarification regarding marks, remarks in the assignment will be dealt only on Sunday.
Students should do the assignment work from home, not during the practical / theory sessions.
Assignments should be hand written only; no typed assignments will be accepted.
Handwriting should be written neatly and readable.
Paper Size should be same.
Use any one color ink pen. Do not use 'RED' ink pen.
The assignments are to be submitted in Course wise attached in a Card Board File only.
Do not send the assignment through e-mail.
The assignment should have the following details:
Name of the Student
Enrollment number
Programme Title
Course Tile & Course Code
Date of submission
Signature
Assignment Code Number
Attach "Acknowledgment Receipt Copy" along with the assignments.
Get back acknowledgement / receipt while submitting your assignments.
Attach Photocopy of the Question Paper along with the assignment.
(Only for BDP – MP – MEG – MAH Program)
The Coordinator / Study Centre has the right to reject the assignments received after the due date. Therefore, the students are advised to submit the assignments before the due date.
"Use of UNFAIR means / COPYING Assignments" are NOT Allowed.
If the above instructions are not followed your assignments will be rejected and you will be entitled to get '00' marks.

Below is the announcement from IGNOU regarding Submission of Assignments. Remember that the last date of submission of assignment is March 30, 2013 for appearing for TEE June, 2013 Examinations conducted by IGNOU University.

"Announcements Submission of assignments mandatory for TEE
All IGNOU students must submit their assignments in order to get hall tickets for the Term End Examination (TEE), the Student Evaluation Division (SED) has announced.

“All IGNOU students are required to ensure the validity of their registration and submission of assignments of the courses for which they intend to appear in TEE. They are also required to get their examination forms authenticated from their Study Centres/ Programme Study Centres/Special Study Centres/Recognised Study Centres/Partner Institutions/Community Colleges/Convergence Centres/Programme Coordinators, etc. to this effect and submit the same at their respective Regional Centres,” said Prof Pushplata Tripathi, Registrar, SED."

NAGPUR: Indira Gandhi National Open University has been providing solace to scores of students across the country who cannot attend college full time. Over the years, IGNOU has made changes to its rules with a view to improve quality of education and ease access to higher education. However, a recent attempt on the same lines has ended up causing chaos.

IGNOU students have to submit their mandatory written assignments for evaluation and also pay the requisite exam fee. From this year on, IGNOU changed the rule making it mandatory to submit assignments before paying the exam fees. Earlier these two events, submission of assignment and paying exam fees, were not linked. Though the rule seems a good idea as it would ensure that the students complete their assignments before they appear for the exams, a goof up has ended up causing problems.IGNOU has given the last date for assignment submission as April 30 while last date for exam fee submission is April 15. Students arriving at IGNOU Regional Centre at Amravati Road were in for a shock. Shraddha Dahibase, a housewife enrolled in a post-graduate course, said, "This is not fair. We are losing 15 days of assignment submission time because of this new rule. IGNOU says pay the fees by April 15 but they won't accept fees without assignments. And assignments were not due till April 30 anyway."

TOI tried to get in touch with Delhi-based PRO of IGNOU Ravi Mohan but he was not available in the office. A woman staffer in his office, who did not wish to be named, said, "Yes, the rule has been made from this year itself. The anomaly has been brought to the notice of the authorities concerned, but no decision has been taken so far."

The Nagpur regional centre of IGNOU too faced numerous queries by applicants arriving to pay fees. Sivaswaroop, regional coordinator of IGNOU, said "Students have brought this to our notice. Normally, the submission date should be prior to the exam fee paying date. We have passed on the students' concern to the headquarters". Until a change is made by IGNOU headquarters, it seems students will have to just finish their assignments a little earlier."

After contacting IGNOU Study Center, Try to contact IGNOU through the helpline phone numbers and email address to resolve this issue.

IF you are unable to reach through their Email Ids and Phone Numbers, contact them via courier and attach the photocopy of the stamped assignment slip in your letter to IGNOU University.
